Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Program Management of AI / Automation Enablement, is accountable for end-to-end ownership of high-impact AI-powered solutions, leading all phases from vision and business requirements definition through delivery, integration, and adoption. This role owns the process of identifying business needs, shaping solution requirements, and driving execution in close partnership with technical teams. The Sr Manager ensures that each initiative is prioritized, clearly defined, and delivered on accelerated timelines—while maintaining a focus on reliability, ongoing validation, and measurable results (such as improved efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making). This role drives operational leverage by acting as the primary liaison, program orchestrator, and change champion between business stakeholders, Data Science, UX, Product Management and Engineering partners.
Key Responsibilities:

25% – AI Solutioning – Define the problem and solution context with the business, and translate ambiguous and manual workflows into structured, scalable solutions for agentic systems. Act as the primary technical translator, leveraging AI/ML framework understanding to bridge the gap between business needs and technical possibilities. Leverage technical fluency to guide balanced team on system integrations and orchestration processes, ensuring the solution is feasible and scalable for the business.

30% – People Leadership – Conduct annual and mid-year reviews, reviewing individual development plans and providing performance feedback. Lead, direct work, mentor, and develop a team of program leads and specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and program rigor. Provide dotted-line, cross-functional management and direction to the Balanced Team members (i.e., Product Mgmt., Engineering, Data Science, and UX) to ensure seamless execution and collaboration on deliverables. Foster collaboration with direct reports and matrixed team members to drive value, identify and resolve impediments.

30% – Program Orchestration & Delivery – Partner extensively with business teams to design and embed contextual AI solutions into key workflows. Coordinate the development of AI solutions and automation across business units and functional domains, ensuring the roadmap is executable and that reusable, governed components are leveraged. Define the operating model and integration strategy for functional AI tool adoption. Drive rigor and clarity into complex programs, translating technical risks and dependencies into business impact and vice-versa. Manage program tracking against the phased roadmap, focusing on schedule, scope, resource alignment, and mitigating cross-functional dependencies.

15% – Stakeholder Alignment & Value Realization – Develop change management plan to ensure seamless integration and adoption of AI solutions with business teams. Serve as the primary program point of contact for the business teams to communicate transparent status updates and manage expectations. Ensure alignment of the AI program with broader enterprise-wide transformation goals. Monitor agents, measure results and report business outcomes to executive stakeholders. Focus resources on initiatives that deliver measurable time savings and demonstrate significant business value (ROI).
