Internships & Development — Career Mobility Program
The Career Mobility Program offers associates currently working as hourly Store, MET, Supply Chain, Contact Center, Driver, & Technician Field Talent the opportunity to diversify skillsets, gain corporate exposure and expand their network through a paid experience while providing field expertise on projects that impact the business.
Note: The 2026 Career Mobility Program Fall cohort is paused with plans to return in 2027 as we reimagine and strengthen future career mobility opportunities. While under construction, we’ll continue sharing development resources and updates in the Grow Your Career page within Viva Engage!

Program requirements
- Employed for 18+ months by the Home Depot at a field location by the start of the program
- Must be in good standing with the Company
- Open to all hourly field talent, including but not limited to Stores, Call/Contact Centers, Supply Chain DCs, & Drivers
- Associates are not required to be enrolled in school or have a college degree for most programs
- Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency preferred
- Must not have previously participated in the Career Mobility Program
- Must complete the online assessment following the application
- For the Analytics Track only:
- Must live within a 50 mile radius of the Atlanta SSC offices
- Must have completed a bachelor’s degree program

After completing the assessment, eligible candidates will be scheduled for an interview.
