Leslie
Associate Support Department Supervisor
Leslie started her career at Home Depot in 2015, looking for a job close to home. When she accepted a role as a Cashier, Leslie was excited that the store was only a short drive from where she lived. What began as a simple job quickly grew into a meaningful career. “I didn’t know anything about the company, but once I finished orientation, I knew it was special,” Leslie shares.
When her husband commissioned in the military, Leslie faced the challenge of relocating to support his career. Through our military transfer policy, she was able to transfer to a new store and continue growing her career, too. With every move, Leslie embraced opportunities to try new roles, from the Service Desk to supporting our Pro customers and beyond.
I move with the military every few years, but I’ve still been able to grow and become a leader.

In each new role, Leslie developed the skills that would prepare her for her current role as an Associate Support Department Supervisor (ASDS). As her store’s ASDS, she guides her team, supports daily operations, and ensures her associates have the tools they need to succeed.
For Leslie, the ability to transfer stores while continuing to build her career has made a lasting impact, no matter where military life takes her. “Home Depot truly takes care of their people,” Leslie says. “Especially military families.”
